You WRX wannbee's need to drive up to the Best Buys at the Mall of GA and drive around back where they do the sterio installs. One of the installers has the baddest WRX I've seen. Silver, lowered, kick ass wheels, kick ass body kit and to top it off, it's silver with silver ghost flames. It's fkin awesome. You really need to see it.

ooh...that sounds kinda neat. i might have to check that out next time i'm in that area (which might be this weekend, i gotta go talk to toyota up there and see about getting more crap fixed before i sell it).

It's a badass car. It'll make you want one even worse seeing one fixed up nice. What else do you need fixed and do you think that your still going to put it back close to stock? I'm still interested in your stuff.

yea, im still planning on putting my car back pretty much stock unless someone comes up and offers me a lot for it like it is now. and i've still got you down for the kit and exhaust jamie. and yea scott, i'm gonna try to sell the hood but i gotta get in touch with TC spoiler and see if they'll give me a new one or something cuz nobody wants it like it is right now. and i wanna hopefully sell the car mid-late summer, mainly depending on how soon i get a job when i move (i need to start looking a little more)

Saw a WRX wagon today, first WRX I'd seen on the road, the back side of those don't look so bad, but the front somehow looks worse, they do have aftermarket headlights and fog lights don't they? It looks so bug eyed.

That WRX is sweet. Only question is, are you going to spring the big bucks for the HID version?

i've yet to completely decide on that really, but here's my tentative plan. i want them a ton but that extra $500 or so (i think thats what it was) can do a whole lot performance wise for that car. so i'm kinda leaning towards the regulars and then maybe later doing an aftermarket HID setup like i had planned on doing to the celica. things could change though, but thats what i'll probably stick with for now (unless i make it rich real quick).

Yea those headlights help, the fog lights are still fugly tho, heh. Should be able to buy cars without certain parts for less money. Special order a WRX without the hood, front or rear bumper or headlights.

you can get the cool looking fog light covers with an sti logo and that covers them up. or if you get a FMIC you have to take them out anyways.

Ahh! So there is hope, maybe given time to hear if they have any complaints like we have now in a year or so I'll give it a try. Don't feel like going through the crap of hearing everyone having tons of problems cuz its a brand new car. Heh.

That is the WRX I was talking about before. The couple times I saw it it was in fron tof best buy but it must be the same one.

By the way cody I was talking to a guy I work with who was getting a WRX but decided to wait for the new Evo. He was telling me all the trick stuff the new Evo's got and it sounds amazing. He was saying the biggest problem with the WRX is the turbo lag, and that the Evo has a compressor type thing that pushes air through the turbo to keap it spooled up when you are at low rpm so that when you give it throttle it is instantanious. I just thought I would pass that along. You may have already heard all that. It is still a great car, but the evo is supposed to blow it out of the water.

yea, that evo does look sweet but i'm still not down with the price on it. and after riding in a wrx with nothing but an air filter and boost controller pushing 15.5 psi, i like the wrx even more. there might be a little turbo lag but it wasn't that noticable to me. and it has nothing on my lift lag (seems like it takes a good 10 seconds to get to it in some gears now)

I'd like to take a ride in a wrx. I was reading an article about the new Cobra Mustang on the plane and it sounds wicked! 390hp is impressive compared to the last several years of Cobras. That thing must be a drift monster! i really want a real wheel drive car again!

yea, i would be willing to be that new cobra is gonna be quite fast. but i'm still shocked at how quick that wrx was the other day, the owner of it (chris) said he might meet up with us again sometime so maybe he'd take you out in it, it's very impressive. the traction was incredible too, they had it out on the wet skid pad and it was just impossible to get that thing to loose grip.

i'll get a lanevo next. then for my first mod, a giant "MONSTOR" sticker on the hood. then i'll get a phase seven sticker cut in half and put it upside down on my giant stock spoiler. oh, and don't forget the big "emperor" sticker too. i don't think i'll ever get around to doing performance mods to it. what a dream. :)
