I have never purchased a body kit and I am thinking about getting one for my 02 Celica. How much should I expect it to pay to get it painted to match my stock Liquid Silver? and how much does installation usually cost?

Also I want to replace my antenna, but the stock antenna is either over tightened or glued in, because the whole plastic base turns. Any tips on getting it out without breaking anything?

Well you could do what I did:

Two days after I bought my GTS (Also an 02, liquid silver, but thats irrelevent), I was side swiped by some stupid bitch in a parking lot. Then on my way to the body shop a week later (Insurance was paying for this mind you) I was rear ended by a ford explorer while at a redlight.

Front & Back Bumper = Free (Used part of the check from my insurance) :) I ordered the body kit, had it sent to the shop, and they installed it, painted it, what have you, all in conjunction with the insurance claims.

Granted, the body shop was family to my ex and ended up sucking majorly and taking 2 months to install a quarter panel, 2 bumpers and paint... but yeah, it was done.

OK, so don't go out and get into accidents, but find a shop you can trust and/or know and see if they can work out a deal with you. Sorry I wasn't much help

I've gotten a few quotes around So. Cal for installation and paint... it ranges from 900-1500. The installation is about 100-200 if it's authentic polyurethane. You'll probably be looking at if you buy a replica kit.

Try some wd40 on the treads of the antenna. But if someone glued it in place...then iono.
