full fog light control mod - question

i currently have my fog light wired to my cigarte lighter, and can turn it on when my key is in the " ACC" now, i want it only to come on in the " ON " mode, how/ where would i re-wire the foglight to?

Find "ignition" power somewhere in the fuse box on the side of the console and use a fuse tap.

soooo... i just tried this, i seem to have ****ED something up....now. how do i determine what that was? is there a way to tell if the relay is messed? cuzz i even tried to wire like before and still no work...

Did you hear something rattle near the relay or something? Probably blew the relay. I did the fog control mod and it didn't last 2 weeks. For some reason it blew the relay quickly. The OEM relay was too expensive so I bought a relay from a Tiburon. I think the relay had something to do with the airconditioning of the tiburon. All I know is that it cost me $10 bucks (Imagine what the OEM relay costs when I would pay $10 for a replacement.) and fit perfectly. And has worked ever since. Although once in a while the fogs don't come on and I hear the rattling again as if it were to give out again. Does anyone know if this mod puts a lot of strain on the relay?

i found the problem was only a burnt fuze. now if anyone can tell me which wire/ where can i splice it to so that the fogs are only powered when my key is in the " ON" mode.??
