Does anyone know when the 2003 Celica is coming out and if there are any expected changes to it or options?

HID's. That's all I know of so far.

Let's just hope beyond all hope that they get rid of that 7500 rpm rev limiter. ... .

I doubt it will happen though.... That would mean some execs somewhere would have to admit they were wrong, and you know that never ever happens.

I thought they would change the rev limiter on the GT-S. Didn't Toyota admit that it was a mistake in the ECU, therefore claiming responsibility for it. Maybe I misread it in the magazine I saw this in, so correct me if I am wrong.

That is their BS explanation to the magazines when they bounce off rev limiter before red line.

But if it really were a "mistake" do you think it would have went out to THOUSANDS of new 2002 Celica's. I think not. It was on purpose and we know that for sure. Toyota just bs's the magazines......................................... ........

I doubt we'll see any big changes - Toyota runs a 5 year model cycle which means were lookin at like 2004 / 2005 before we get any major exterior change.

More than likely, you'll see new headlights, taillights, and prolly new bumpers. That's the stuff they usually change...JMO.

Good Point Amjed
I hope they do make it lower. It will make my 2000 6speed more rare and more coveted.

LOL... you know what Ryan i already see a trend in this.. people def. would rather buy a 2000 over an 02 used vehicle.. it'll become much more aparent in 5 years.

probably might make clear/red taillights... or have a special black headlight, or different spoiler, or painted side skirts.
