View Full Version : Need suggestions on Exhaust

I am looking to buy and exhaust for my car. Now I just wanted some suggestions on them. I was thinking about getting a magnaflow instead of a trd because trd is more expensive and really not that loud. I am looking for something that sounds good. Now I have seen some people with the rsr exhaust, but I don't know. Suggestions Please!!

I switched from TRD to RSR and love it! I also have a straight pipe from the header back to the RSR.

I have the Invidia exhuast and it sounds good. If you want it loud and deep the Invidia is a good choice.

Is this RSR exhaust everybody has. The reason I am asking is because this one on this website has a pipe in the middle. Is that the silencer?

My RSR looks different that that one. That pic could just be a generic pic rather than the celica specific model. The pipe on my silencer doesn't stick out like that.

How thick is the piping that you get with buying the exhaust. Also do you by any chance now about how much hp you gain with it?

Looked like 2.5" piping to me.....not sure of HP gains as I'm in the middle of a PFC project and working on tuning it. I will be dynoing in a week, but it will be with the PFC tuned....all other dynos were without PFC. All I can say is that it ***Feels*** like it is better than my previous exhasts.

If anyone wants to send me $75, I'll go dyno it without the PFC to get a good comparison to the TRD. --- I'm not trying to be an a$$ with that statement, I just don't have the extra funds to do that dyno test right now.
