Just a question.
What would give me beter performance on the Track?
A LSD or Front and rear sway + anti lift castor kit. from whiteline?

It really depends on the track. If you have any tight hairpin turns to pull out of the LSD will help a lot. If it's a track that is mostly sweepers with few really tight (1st/2nd gear) turns, then the sway bars are an easy choice.

Even if you do have wheel spin issues with the open diff, you have to ask youself what counts for more, better acceleration for about 3 seconds per lap, or an extra 3-5 mph on every turn.

I bet the extra cornering speed translates into better lap times.

On the track? Hmm.... The sways are ok that are on there right now. A larger rear sway would be nice to get a little bit more of rear bias. A rear strut bar is a nice thing to have also.

LSD is a whole other animal and if you want to be at full throttle comming out of a corner then you should deff get the LSD. I love mine.

Also if you are going to be cornering hard on the track with sticky tires please please invest in a Sump system or a baffled oil pan. You will be glad you did.

Swaybar = cheap
LSD = expensive

Get the cheap one then the expensive one as need dictates.

sorry to jump in ur thread but would the LSD be better for montain runs wit lots of hair pins and switch backs, or the sways wit front and rear strut bars be the better choice.

Good advice.

The LSD is good everywhere and anywhere. It's good for launching the car from a dead stop, it's good for snow, rain and anywhere you need traction. This is like comparing an intake to an exhaust, separate they are both good but when you put them together they give the best performance.

hey vyets, go for the sways first off.

I got the rear from white line and car handles so differently its so so much better, way easier to control in a corner and u have lots of feedback u know exactly wuts gonna happen next.

Also on a side note, jimmy got front and rear sways and he has no where near the rear bias i have, he said his is more neutral to understeer.

Where as i can pretty much through the rear out in wut ever corner which elimates any chance of under steer and just power out of the corner which straightens the car right up.

Not to mention you could have already bought and installed the swaybar by now for 1/10th the price of an LSD.

It keeps the oil pump from oil starvation during hard cornering.
