I do like the way the side portions of the body make it look that much wider. Its a sharp car and I can't wait to see these after they have been out for a while with mods. Will be interesting indeed.

Ya know what...me neither...it looks too much like an Audi...It reminds me of an Audi TT to be honest..one of the quattro ones..
I dunno..the styling design is nice..and it's definetly a showpiece...but I'm not digging it. Heh.

rear has SC430 and cougar written all over it... interior is like the celica's with more expensive materials.... i appreciate the power, finesse and whatnot... but with that kind of engine and heritage, u'd think they could come up with something original... unless u count original as thinking up a new combination of features from 3 different cars out there. i wouldn't get one just cuz i'm waiting for the EVO7.... i saw a white one at school and now im love... heard the BOV and everything.... nearly cre#med in my pants haha...

Everyone's talkin about how ugly the 350z is, but so were a lot of people when the celica came out. In fact many people still think the celica is ugly. 350z has that love it/hate it styling. I didn't like it at first, but its grown on me just as the celica did. (but I still think they stole a lot of design concepts from toyota... sc430...ahem... celica...ahem... )

True, Redline. The more I look at it, I'm the more it's starting to grow on me. You're right about when the Celica first came out, I was like "yuck, I'm getting an Accord" but look what I ended up with.

REAR >> SC430 / Porsche..doesn't the wing come out at high speeds also, i think i saw this on a comerical i dl.....i dunno.
FRONT >> CELICA / OCTANE SIDE FRONTS / K2 or R2 the one with the big mouthed front..
SIDES >> wide body..because everyone seems to want wide body..
i dunoo..but i think its just a jock of all cars..

i like it myself, it is a love it/hate it car but thats what i like about it, it would get alot of heads turning thats for sure. The other day I had someone ask me if my celica was the new jag. HA HA
btw: I was kidding about the apc spoiler and tip.:chuckles:
I do think it would look better with some sort of spoiler, kinda reminds me of the late 70's early 80's camaros that didnt have spoilers:puke:

DAMN......the difference between base model and track model is a freakin $8 G's. I wish I had that kind of money.....Well if I did, I wouldn't know whether to get this or the EVO VII though. Maybe the lancer

Am I the only one that is "considering" just keeping my Celica?
Reasons I will not get this car.
1. RWD, driving at any time in Minnesota during the winter months with RWD just sux. Yeah it's doable, but I don't wanna be the one doing it.
My friend lives in an apt overlooking interstate, and we watch as the beamers, RWD anything just slide into the ditch.
2. I think my car has a ton more potential.
3. Alot of other cars in this same price range will be out that are MUCH more tunable direct from the factory...... I think you all know what those are......
4. Looks, I'm just not diggin the looks, but of course this is personal preference.

I think it's badass, front to back and side to side. It's on my list of next cars.
I think a lot of people will change thier opinion once they get close to one out in the real world, sit in it and even drive it. I'm looking forward to this, I'm sure I won't be let down. Nissan spent a lot time on this car, even the base model is badass.

Im proud of my celica too, and i plan on keeping it, but if i had more money this would be one of the cars on my list. Im willing to bet the aftermarket for the 350z will be huge. Plus look at the interior it is one of the best ive seen.

Ok, apparently you are misreading what I said,
I meant that I think my car has more potential MEANING I can get more out of this car than I am currently getting.
I DID NOT mean that it has more potential than the new Z car, good grief, why the **** would I say that?!
EDIT: REad the context of what I wrote, I was stating that in defense of why I would be keeping my car, and asking why everyone was so quick to want to get rid of their Celica sometimes.
Basically just trying to show that I feel there is a lot more potential for the Celica than people are letting on. ie, more potential for mods to increase power, more potential to add suspension mods to increase handling capabilities.
I WAS DEFINITELY NOT posting that I think the Celica has more potential than the Z car.

Yeah is this another RSX-S 14.6 magazine "computerized guesstimation time"........
I seriously doubt that car is gunna be in 13's stock when it comes out.

well i saw in a few mags, 14.0. now we all know mag drivers cant drive, but if they can hit a 14.0, than a normal person not a novelist can hit a 13.XXX. its got power and tourqe in a not so heavy car. i think it can do it. 3100lbs, 280bhp, 250trq.
