i was wanting to know if a 19x7.5 team dynamics wheel with 35 series tires will fit when i already lowered the car 2 inches with goldline springs. i currently have 17x7 konig toxins with 40 series tires and it seems like i have a lot of room to go. i know that a 35 series 19 is the same diameter as a 18 with 40 series on it. can someone please help me before i mount my tires on these rims.

go look at the miata tire calculator....just put "miata calculator" in google. You can put in any sized wheel and and width and profile tire and it will tell you how much bigger or smaller your combo is as well as how far off your speed-O will be at 60mph. Hope this helps. :naughty:

I was feeling generous and went and checked this out myself... so here it is...
a 17in rim with 215/40 tires measures 23.8 inches high
a 19in rim with 225/35 tires measures 25.2 inches high
thats a 1.4 in difference and (I think) you cut that in half because only half of the distance will go into the wheel well; the other half will actually lift the car. ---someone correct me on this if I am wrong----- so if you have .7 inches clearance you should be fine!!!
I don't know if they make a 225/30 series, but thats almost an EXACT match.
Hope all this info helps you out....good luck with 19s!

I've got Custom 19x8.5 wheels on the way and they recommended 225/35 19 or 235/35 19 tires for them. They said they fit this on a Celica B4 W/O problems.
