GTS LAID,
Thanks for getting the article up! Much appreciated. So what did you think of it? Can you draw make any comparisons, favorable or unfavorable with the 2zz?

I can't read them. They show up all big and clear at first then get smaller.

Put your mouse cursor over the image and wait a second and a box will pop up in the lower right hand corner. Click on it and it will put it back to normal size.

I was not aware .jpg files had this capability,

or are you using a Macintosh or something?

Any opinions about the K20 from any of the "tech-heads" out there (Chui, Yakko, Autxr, Griffin, etc.)?:)

That button on the lower right hand side of the jpeg will only appear if you are running IE 6.0.

Older version will not have it, so that is why you noticed the change when going to XP.

i read the article... its awesome to see such innovation.. and who would've known about the infiniti motor having those awesome looking intake and exhaust ports.

anyway from the looks of it just like they said the a2 is NOT as strong as the 2zz ... the 2zz was made of MMC material and was etched to a distance of 5.5 mm between the cylinders when the minimum you can go with is 5 mm... so theres much more precision.

honda has definately taken a lets make things for a bit cheaper approach.

heres an interesting point they bring up... with the cylinders just hanging around there anyone with their right mind would of course want to fill in the area around it. My guess is the upcoming type R engine is already filled in. In many ways our engine is more similar to the F20 than the K20 ... the F20 is filled in.. its is undersquare too just like the F20 while the K20 is square.

also if you read the articles of the 2zz and the F20C article you'll also notice the angles are much more similar on the wzz and the F20 than on the K20A2.

i'm gonna have to look at pics of the 2zz to compare the internals but it seems the A2 came well prepared in terms of internals to go by.

You can turn that crap off by going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> then find the Multimedia section on the list of options that shows up and just UN-check the "Enable automatic image resizing" check box...

Chui, so how do you think the K series motors compare to other n/a powerplants like the 2zz, F20, and the old-school B-series engines?
