Haha, I was in the 6th grade in 2000, and I didn't even know what a Celica was. I think the first time I saw one was on Need for Speed. I hated them on the game, and the first 7th generation Celica I saw in person was in the summer of 2003, and I thought it was the ugliest car ever.

Then they kinda grew on me, and after I wrecked my Sentra in 2005, I wanted a Celica and nothing else.

I was a sophomore in highschool when I first set eyes on it. My mom was dropping me off to school when I saw a brand new spectra blue gts and immediately fell in love ( I didnt even know what car it was). Later that day when i came home I saw the commercial that Brett was talking about with the celica tearing it up through some desert country road with the Jets flying above..... It was definitely destiny hahaha

Heh I was only 10/11 years old :p.. I guess that would put me at 4th maybe 5th grade when it came out. 2 years later I bought a nitro R/C car (hpi nitro rs4) and after dad ruined the truck body that came with it, and then a corvette body, I bought the celica body and painted it yellow and put the 'celelbrity' stripes on it.. I've been in love since.
