Ok, i've started creating a database for power/weight ratios. It has HP, TQ, Weight, weight/hp, weight/tq, transmission type, and drivetrain configuration. Most of the information i pulled off of manufactuer websites, but some i had to search and find. Let me know if any information is not correct. Also, if there is a car you'd like to have me add, give me the specs and i'll update it. here is the link.

Mine's not there, but my numbers were a lot lower than those (12 & 10). Is that good or bad?

the numbers represent how many pounds you have for either
1 HP, or 1 lb/ft of Torque. The Lower the better. If your car was 200 HP and 2000 Pounds your HP/Weight ratio is 10. Lower is definitely better.

Interesting that there are only 3 FWD cars with better power to weight ratios: The ITR, V6 Altima and RSX-S. And the ITR and RSX have lower torque to weight......
Minor point, but the 350Z is NOT FWD.... ;)

Nice work on getting all the information - The difference between the RSX-S and the GT-S is miniscule that's why it is definitely a driver's race, even though the ITR has a slight HP/Weight edge, it is not as good in the Torgue/Weight dept as the GT-S. A very good GT-S driver should be able to give both a good run. I didn't see the V6 Cougar (only the 4 cyl) did I miss it? All in all nice work.

I thought the EVO-VII was AWD.

ok, thanks for the corrections, I'll update it right away...EVO VII is AWD, and 350Z is RWD...any other corrections? Also, anyone have the specs on the Cobra mustangs? The v6 cougar is there already, or at least it should be. This is also nice because you can modify some of the HP/TQ number to see what you're running after your mods. the Celica needs 200HP to be close to a mustang GT...not much at all.
