Mishap on the way home after getting Kaminari Race Wing installed...

I was driving home today after getting my Kaminari Race Wing installed, and heard something hit my car. When I got home I found that a rock or some sort of debris hit the front part of my hood and put a few small dents plus took some paint with it:eek: Jeezis freakin' chr*st:mad:! I just touched it up with some touch up paint, but the small dents are noticable...Oh well, looks like I'll be heading back to the bodyshop again:(.

Ya, I guess the consolation prize is that I finally got my wing:). My emblem should be in tomorrow. PICS up by weeks end;).

Have you told anyone what this emblem is going to be? I havent been on the board for a coulpe of days and Im too lazy to check if the word on that emblem is out... So I take it that you like the wing? I guess Ill have to wait for this weekend for the pics... ANyway have a good one... Later...

Nah, I'll post pics of it later this week. I am very happy with tyhe wing! I'm glad I went your route by having the edges of the centerpiece painted spec blue. I'm doing an Overlay for the endcaps as well. Let me know if you're interested;).

Are they in CF? I already installed the Kaminari ones :( - its OK - it could be better though... Maybe when I have the $$$$$ Im so broke right now I had to put a stop on modding my ride :D...

That's okay, they'll fit right over the Kaminari sticker. They'll be pretty cheap too:). Yes, CF finish.

Actually they are really different... The Kaminari comes in 4 pieces and the WW comes with 3...

That really sucks. If you are crazy like me then you would just get a carbon fiber hood and repaint the hood. Whenever something goes wrong, I go all out and buy a mod to replace it. :D

I swearevry time your like "ahh my car is nice now that i have my ____ ... man my car looks good!" Then Bam something stupid happens like rock chips err rock in winshield... whatever. I had my TRD rear valence put on the other day Completeting my TRD kit .. thaen bam some bi tch hits my car with her door. Had to pop that out with 50 bucks. Never ends dude!

second that.. dood
the third day after i got my side skirt installed.... i was looking for a parking spot at my school library.. at 7pm.. .. driving under 10mph.. then suddenly a ****ing bike hitted my car at my left front side fender left a big dent on me fonrt left side fender... .... it was half year ago.. now finally i am putting my rear bumper and get the dent fixed.. hopefully i don't get hit again.. wtf....

Hey bat how was the quality of your carbon fiber blade. Mine is pretty beat up. If so what did the shop do to fix up the carbon fiber. I am taking the wing to get sprayed today. What edges did you get painted spec blue, just so i know if maybe i would like to get the edges sprayed.

There were some scratches on the CF centerpiece. The instructions say to paint the edges black. I opted for Spec Blue to match my car. The clear coat did a good job of hiding some of the scratches. Overall, I'm happy with the wing:).
