apr wing question

I just put mine on last night and it didn't seem to want to fit right, well we got it on and it seems that the bases are pulling more on the inner sides and i was wondering if anyone else had this problem?
It looks like they are digging into my trunck, but i can't get them straight cause then the holes for the wing itself don't match up at all
