Update on New Job

I start on June 3rd and will train on dayshift for a week and then will go to afternoon shift (3:15-11:15). That's the only thing that sucks about this job is that I'm giving up normal day hours for it. BUT, the pay is better and I'll get all the voluntary OT that I want so I'll prolly quit my second job since it only pays $10hr. I'll be making $22hr in overtime so it doesn't make any sense to stay there. This is a good move for us. We'll be moving this summer, probably to the Buford area.<------ NOTE TO TODD. :) I'll still have extra money for my two cars, Celica being the priority. But I really want to get my Camaro going too so I'll prolly just buy Cody's stuff and that'll be it until I need tires and then I'll be getting my wheels.

Hahaha... Not rich yet.. :D If we can get rid of all these dang bills we would be doig good. With 2 kids a wife and one income.. it is tough.. and no raise this year.. :( for anybody in our company...

Any body realize that taxes went down I just got my first 80 hour check and it's 11 dollars more then before, All I need is one more pay check and I will be able to get my kit, and then one more from that I will be able to get the wing and hopefully get it painted. :D

Taxes went down? I know my insurance all went up so I'm making about $20 less a paycheck which sucks.

last year my checks were about 1100every other week.. Jan. 1 it went down to 980 and now it is down to 920 after adding my new son.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............ This month I get 3 chcks and they take insurance out of each check.. It will cost me nearly 900 for insurance this month.. and this is working for a multi billion dollar company.. Does that suck AZZ or what??

My checks went from 769 evey two weeks to 781 every two weeks :D I guess insurance sucks I'm glad I am still covered under my parents

Damn Todd, that's HellALOT for insurance. That sucks ass. I just did some figuring on my new job compared to my two jobs now. Right now I bring home $1150 every two weeks. Now with my new job + overtime, with no second job, I'll be at $1471 take home every two weeks. Damn, that's F'kin sweet. OR Gross difference is 38.5k --->47.8k + wife's 21k gross and we're at nearly 70k for the two of us. Oh man, I can't wait. **And I'm not gloating in any way. I know there's alot of peeps that make ALOT more than that. I'm just really excited...**
And peeps at my old job want to know why I'm leaving. Phhsst..

Side note, got smoked by a Civic last nite who pulled a ricer fly by, but I think he pulled it with some nitrous. Pulled up beside him on P'tree Industrial, he's slammed and has Spoon stickers, didn't really want to race so I accelerate normally, doing about 45 in 4th gear when he slams it... he gets in front, shoots some smoke out the exhuast and bam, I look at me in fourth gear and watch him fly.

I raced a civic on the way home last night at 1:30 in the morning. It was the previous body stile two door. It was lowered, had wheels, and had dual exhaust(looked like Nur Spec). The thing was loud and nasty sounding. He droped into fourth and I stayed in fifth and still pulled on him from 75 to 100 or so. It was funny. The exhaust looked bad ass but you could tell just by the sound that it was way to much for that car.

Talking about civic's I talked to one of my friends the other day he lives in Athens so I don't talk to him too much anymore, it seems he's turned to the rice side of the force, His Civic is now pimped with Pep boys mods, He was telling me all about them and I wanted to cry for him :wtc: he thinks it's cool so I guess it's ok but I don't think I will ever be able to ride in his car again.

O.k I'll add another civic story..
Yesterday the family and I were on Holcomb Bridge gettig ready to turn south on 400.. (coming from the east) Wife was driving..
there is 2 turn lanes there and we stop waiting on the light first in line.. this kid pulls up next to us boppin his music.. (wakes up our little one.. so now he is screaming) I look back and see it is a Dx so I tell my wife.. "kick his but" and she said o.k.

Well light turns green and we both floor it and he beat us.. :( I am not sure if the wife gave it 100% becaus eof the kids in the car.. which I can understand..

I know the rocket can beat it because I have timed it from 0-100 before and it was in the 2.5 second range... :D:D:D
