rock chips are ghey!!

i hate rock chips i bought my car about 2 mnths ago and i already have like 3 noticeable rock chips and like 6 smaller ones that u cant tell unless u look really hard! and 2 of those noticeable ones and a cpl smaller ones were made today as i was driving home from school on 280! i was just cruising along and all of a sudden i see a box so im about to swerve but the idiot in the lane next to me brakes for no reason and being as i was in the far left lane the only place i could swerve was into the car next to me so i tried to break pretty hard and hoped it would blow by but it didnt i hit it and destroyed it then i came home checked my car for anything nothing was visible.... until i finished cleaning my car!! i noticed like 3 small chips that arent that bad.. not even too noticeable unless u search hard but i found 2 that just kinda stand out look like dirt until u look at em they arent too big but they are there and annoying... im still pissed at the guy in the other lane who braked next to me! wtf! he had no reason to brake for... bastard!:wtc:

u dont even want to see the front of my car... fiberglass + 2 inches fromt he ground + 40,000 miles on my kit = tons of chips

Chips aren't that bad when you have to settle for bumping a rubber tire on the highway :(

Driving home today the car infront of me ran over some rubber tires and it kicked it up in front of my car. It hit my front bumper and bounced under my car.

Upon closer inspection there was lot of left over rubber residue...and The connection between the lower lip of my car popped out and a few little paint chips. Sucks.....

Do you think insurance will reimburse any amount of money for this?

i have about 5 noticable stone chips on my hood, had the car for eight months. went to toyota sat. for estimate. $350.00, yeah right. f them and their this ass paint.

I have over 200 rock chips in my custom paint... It's getting repainted next Wednesday, for free... Then it's getting stonguarded :D

well i had rock chips but i got my front bumper all repainted when i got my ww kit put on ..my freind owns a body shop near me and he sponsors me and he painted them over...he said that its not the paint..its the primer that they put on the cars before they paint it...he said that the primer from the factory on my csar was probably sh!t...he knew this becasu he inspected my chips and they all were rock chips but they all chipped out from under the paint itself...so he told me to go to toytoa and tell them about thius and they should paint it for me...i never went he just painted all this for free on ym car becasue hes my sponsor..but i bet if u guys go to your dealerships ands complain they will give ina nd re;paint your hoods and stuff...goioid luck peeps
