This story is way old. I believe the one that I saw showed a photo of the nickle plant and the gross-ness it was causing. I was blaming the nickle plant way more than toyota although toyota should be conserned with the place it purchases its nickle.

Oh yeah, adn there is NO WAY a hummer is going to last 300,000 miles like that article claims.

there used to be a site called: www.hummerlemon.com

it was made by a H2 owner who was disgusted with his car. It was very detailed, including pics of his rusting chasis and tubing (you could even see it through the glove compartment area). That didn't happen way down the road either. I think it was within 30K miles, and the guy didn't live in strange conditions either. :chuckles:
