I've been thinking of upgrading my fog lights to an HID. I'm just sick and tired of replacing these bulbs every other month.

Has anyone have done this using the stock fog housing?

your fogs are going out a lot? dang my car is a 00 and i have never once changed the bulbs and they are on every night when i drive. That sucks bro. But anyways HID fogs would be pretty sweet, do you have HID lows? it may look a little funny with hid fogs and normal lows.

I'm not using the stock bulbs.

However, those stock bulbs lasted long for me. Almost a year but I bought my car used so I don't know how long it lasted from the previous owner.

man just search, this topic has been covered a couple of times before and if you want to see what it looks like swyn got a good example and i have a couple of pics in my gallery, and for the future questions yes you will have to drill a hole in the back cap of the housing for the wires to run to the ballast and yes it will be bright as hell.

You'll need ballasts too. A kit basically.
