I am installing new speakers in my door but I don't know how to remove the door panels. Can anyone tell me how to remove the door panels?

How would I remove the rear panels to gain access to the rear speakers?

take the rear seats out, the brackets on left/right, take the pop up rivets from the sides and then pull them off, but I dont have any pics....sorry.

getting to the speakers is a bitch. have to take off the whole front door panel for the front, and the seats, and most off all the rear plastics for the rears. i guess it makes em real hard to steal at least. thats always nice. unless they steal your car. anyways. yeah.

Sorry guys but I have another question. I managed to remove the radio but I noticed one wire I wasn't familiar with. It has the connection similar to the one for the antenna but it is smaller and lies beneath the regular antenna connection. Does anyone know what this is for? It was connected to the stock unit but I don't know its purpose. Please help.

Also, how do I remove the rear seats? Does it just hook underneath?

There are two antennas in the factory system the smaller wire is a "Dispersion Antenna" located in the rear window. Just hook up the larger one and forget about the other. should work fine.

yeah the rear seats, just fold em down, and you'll see the bolts in the middle. its all pretty self explanitory. seriously, just keep takin **** apart till its all out.

These may help. You don't have to remove the trunk area to get to the speakers, but I was doing a complete sound damping install.
