the fuse for the brake lights pop. Ive blown 3 fuses including a 35 when it only requires a 10. Has this happened to anyone? Anyone know how to cure this?

Thanks

you shouldnt be using a higher wattage fuse cause you can melt your wires with that much power dissipating... you obviously have some kind of short somewhere that's causing much more current to flow into the circuit once you smack the bakes. I suggest you get it checked out at the dealership.. its part of your warranty.

So, what kind of amplifier did you install? :)

Have you noticed this brake light issue AFTER the installation of the amplifier? What I am getting at is that possibly something with the amplifier is incorrectly wired causing this problem, or that the wiring has somehow shorted to your brake light circuit. I would look carefully at your amplifier wiring, or any other wiring that you may have done.
