I believe just the front two windows are illegal so all you gotta remove is those two. What you should do is at the very outer edge use a stainless steel razorblade to try and pick up the edge of the film, then in 1 smooth motion remove the film. When you do this it is better if you let your car sit out in the sun for a couple of hours, this way the glue gets soft when it is baked in the sun. Later use Ammonia products or Alcohol to remove these glue. Do not use anything to scrape the glue off, just use those solvants.

Use a hairdryer and warm up the tint before removal. Then, pick the edge up with a razor blade, and pull it off a little at the time. Helps to have two ppl. If you do it right, shouldn't be any glue on the window..
If you do, use goof-off.

Just becareful when you use stainless steel blade to scrape the glass because you do not want to accidentally use the point edge to scrape your glass. Keep the razor at 30 degree angle run over a wet soap covered glass surface and the glue will come off.

That's why I'm not getting my front windows tinted.

yes... definately make sure your window is wet and soapy when you scrape it w/a razor.
btw... it's gonna smell funny too :P
Ok, raise your hand if you've had to remove tint...

the weird thing is, i haven't been able to figure out if it's the glue on the tint dried up, or the baby shampoo used to put the tint on with that smells...
I guess it's one of those things I'll never know

It does not have to smell, use dish washing soap just a few drops with water. As long as it will suds up alittle it is enough.
Spray it onto window with spray bottle and run stainless steel razor all over the surface and you are fine. It should not stink up your car. Do not use ammonia if you do not want to stink up.
