ABS or No ABS?

Hey folks,

I was under the impression that my 04 GT came without ABS, but upon pulling my fuse cover, I see as dark orange box below the fuse block labeled ABS. Is that a box that comes in all 7th gens and just not active in some of them, or is that the definitive answer that I do in fact have ABS?

I was always under the impression there was a cluster light when you had ABS.

Yep, no cluster light no ABS, unless the light doesn't work. There are a couple of ways to know for sure:
1. If you have ABS you have the individual wheel sensors at all 4 hubs.
2. You have the ABS pressure regulator below the brakefluid reservoir (silver box with lines running out of it)
3. Slam the brakes and see if the tires skid or if you feel the pedal pulsing back.
