the x-types might as well be a really nice ford, its a good quality car. And a v6 awd one is nice...go for it.

same motor as the ford fusion? same awd drivetrain? i could be wrong.
might be better to look into a fusion if so haha
I like the jag though.
Ugliest car ever IMO, but if you like it they are alright. Better quality in general than other fords.

The reason I'm holding back is because it is basically a ford. It is made in great Britian although. I'm also looking at the audi a4 quattro, g35x all wheel drive cars.
Here is a link at the other cars I'm interested in.

i would go for the g35x, very nice car. ive been in it and i would love to drive one eveyday. also if you go for an audi there have been more reported problems as the car gets older vs. a import

The Big Cats are nice (I'd love an old XJ-S as a Sunday cruiser- tweed suit optional :D ) but while the quality has improved from the old days, they are still usually a bit of a nightnmare. Does not mean you will have problems for sure but it is a distinct possibility...

They are horrible cars.
They are horrible cars.
the X-type is notorious for being a horrible, horrible jaguar - it has NO relation to the Ford Fusion / Mazda 6 - in fact its based on the last generation mondeo - its a true turd, you should avoid it at all costs unless you LOVE electrical gremlins and poor build quality.

Jags are overpriced, and are in the shop all the time. My old boss had one. She hated it, but she had spent so much money on fixing it, it wasn't worth getting rid of. Money pit.
From what I have read, her car was the norm, and not the exception.

I drove for a little the European market 2 litre X-Type. Was not too impressed. Definitely more on the cushy side of things than a good handling car, but very smooth auto transmission.
