In my house. Why do you need it in the car? I have never figured out why people feel the need to do this. What is the point?

You should not be playing videogames while you're driving. If it's for passengers, mount it on the back of the rear seat and stick an LCD monitor in one of the front seatbacks.

thats good so where do i mount the car so i can have access to it. Of course i wont play it while driving, i dont even think thats possible :P. But for show at the local events and when i have a passenger in the front seat i was wondering where you guys are mounting yours. I've seen in person only one install but it looked funny- the guy had it stuck to the passenger side kick panel. I'll try this weekend and see what comes up. maybe i can fit it under the passenger seat and have the drawer pop out towards the floor mat. Either way its just for fun, and i do play it in the house. I am makin it so that i can easily bring it from the house to the car. And when its in the car it will be used for DVD's about 90% of the time.

Your best bet other than in the trunk somewhere is the glovebox. Other than that you are looking a major cutting of the car in order to have it in there. You could buy a couple of those extenders for the controler cords and run them from the rear up into the glove box or the ashtray. Then just plug the controler in there and leave it in the trunk. Unfortunatly there isn't a whole lot of room under the front seats. You may be able to fit it facing backwards into the back seat. But then again, my amp wouldn't even fit under the front seats.
I just don't understand the need. Not telling you not to do it or how it is unsafe. Your car your choice. Good luck finding room for it. good luck

well its definitely not permanent. I'm just doing it for fun, and maybe for show. And because the stereo is already there with the GPS and everything else, i want to finish it with a dvd and playstation. I know its already been done but not by me. I'll just have fun with it for a while till it gets old and probably get rid of that setup. Just seein how much technology i can cram into that little car ya know......
