I lowered my car 1.4 inchs with the kyb axg adjustable struts I have to have them on the stiffes setting and it rubs alot on the right side front. Don't get a 225/45 series tires with the 18's if you plan on lowering your car.

Did you buy the right tire size??? You got 18's but have so much rubber, obviously you didn't match to specs???
What brand is the rims? Its not bad on silver... is it just the lighting or brake dust? but the front looks like gun metal and the back is like silver

I like the wheels... what offset? I would guess that has something to do with the rubbing.

Edit: No wonder your rubbing, I just noticed the tire size. Once again a case of researching AFTER buying a product. With that size wheel and tire combo you are about 2" larger that stock. Thats a HUGE different. Your speedo will be off about 5 MPH at 60, and Im sure you killed the 0-60 time as well....
Your overall combo is about 8% too large... I would think it would be best to stay in the 2% range plus or minus.

I'm on a 1.5" drop with the same spec tires, 18x8 +35mm wheel, no problems whatsoever.

I think they look cheap. I'm not saying that to disrespect your purchase or be an ass but that was my first reaction.

I think the offset is 45. there really nice they are lighter then my 17's I had on there. These weight about 19 pounds each and my enkies I had were 22 pounds but of course i gained weight in the tires. It only rubs on the right side. It rubs on the inside when I try making hard lefts and it was hitting the inner fender lip tell I rolled that up. Now it just rubs when I hit hard bumps but only the inner plastic. The brand is Kyowa I got them at bigwheels.net

Are those Kyowa Racing rims? Look nice. I got similar setup KYB + S-Tech, 1.5" drop all around with 18x8.5 +35 rims and 225.40.18 tires without problem.
