Hi, I will be a proud owner of a 2000 Celica GTS 6speed tommorow, and I don't really know much about these cars yet like my old 300ZX, so what type of gas do I gotta put in, and what type of oil do you guys run on them, thanks

gas has to be 93 octane or ull **** it up
and oil check the cap on the engine

Change lift bolts asap. 2000 bolts where trash.

Yeah, the guy I bought the car from is the orginal owner, and he had the car dealer maintained, it has 100k on it, and its in the best condition I have ever seen, never driven in snow, garage all winters, I will look into it, so for sure I gotta run 93?

premium, nothing else, and 2000 is one of the best years because of lift.

91 octane minimum... Around here, 91 is the highest you can get. If it took 93, I'd be ****ed.

yeah i was in the market then i saw a 2000, lift felt great and i only took it up to like 7500 when i was getting on the highway,:)

try for 93 octane, or the highest octane your area has to offer... fuel injector cleaners every 5 - 6 fill ups...

yeah okay thanks, i live in michigan so its 93 around here, what rpms can i go to be safe, since the 00 gts don't got a rev limiter just a fuel cut off?

A rev limiter is a fuel cutoff. You're safe until you go past that.

^ higher redline than the 02+ models.
