Will it be okay or will I have to lower it so its not a monster truck?

I have 17s with a 1.4 (s-tech) drop. My rims look larger because even though the have a lip, the spokes wrap around the lip itself.

Here you can see what Im talking about.

It's not the rim size but the tire size that will set your height up or down with stock suspension. Larger rims won't raise your car unless you get the wrong tire size and that will throw your speedo off.

I've got 18x7.5's on mine but the speedo is right on the money because the outside tire diameter is the same as the factory tires...just more rim and less sidewall.

7th gens always look better lowered. Mine's been dropped about 1.8 all around with Eibach pro-kit springs. My sig shows my car and http://heavenly-memories.smugmug.com/gallery/2741697 has pics of today's KC meet. There were nine 7th gens there, some with stock suspension and after-market wheels.

:werd: You guys must use huge tires or something...should be no higher than it was before...

But then you're running on literally no tires. Doesn't look quite as nice.

Tire Rack says if I put 205/45/17 the height should be the same as stock...

I'm just gonna get 16's and stay stock hieght, those rims will look big, since they have no deep lip.
