So I just got the RMM kit installed and I am wondering if I should lower the car. I already bought TRD Springs, and have them in the trunk. But I am wondering if i would scrape the crap out of everything. Please give my your input. Thanx

I have TRD Springs, I've scraped once with the TRD Kit and that was off a VERY STEEP HILL.. dam school...... but those are good, it lowers it just off the speed bumps and parking bumps(most of htem anyways).. you dont' have to worry as much but your car isn't that much lower, I got mine down to 1.75" drop cause of crash bolts but the TRDs are good as it makes your car look good without a seriously noticable drop while you can still drive around and not have to go over speed bumps side ways and worry bout slight hills... I like mine.

No way dude. Don't ruin your car! Leave it stock. Then sell me your springs for half of what you paid for them!:chuckles:

i have a wings west kit and i'm wondering the same thing. i know going for an oil change is going to be a bitch. they already have to use drive on ramps, and its comes REALLY close with the kit, with a drop it probably won't get on the drive on ramps. that'd be a pain.

Do it. You'll like it. The front lip is pretty low without even lowering the car and I've scraped a little and dont have springs yet, but I still gonna get springs that dont drop much like HKS, H&R, or Hotchkis. It's going to scrape not matter how careful you are, plus it's on the bottom and nobody will see it anyway :) If you're got a kit you have to lower it. It will look so much better.

I am actually gonna sell the springs for $200 shipped to anyone. I have already scraped some stuff and dont think i am gonna lower it right now. I am gonna get my rims and then get coilovers. I am gonna sell them and buy some other stuff. If anyone is interested in purchasing them let me know. They are brand new, never installed.

It looks smooth, not too crazy. It's my favorite kit.
What part of Florida do you live in?

damn u guys scrape every once in a while and you are worried. Damn I would hate to see you guys with coils overs all the way down. Even with S turns sometimes you still scrape. If your car is stock height its too high, doesn't look right, but of course a broken front end doesn't look good either but I already have a broken front end so I don't care.... ohh yea anyone wana buy RMM intake or strut bar ? I wana sell both for 200. If u need coil overs installed in WPB or Miami area holla at me.

J3adspeed stop being lazy change your own oil. especially with a kit

How much you want for the strut bar? Is it the chrome one with the battery tie down?

i live in an apartment complex so its not easy to do. not to mention any work that needs to be done on my car in general would be hard to do. but i think i'll lower it anyway. eventually.
