any info on the O.Z. superleggra

this rim is light ant it looks pretty good imo...
does anybody have a pic of the superleggra on a silver celica? I tried searching for it, but i couldn't find any.

also, does the superleggra (17") weight 12 pounds?

I think they weight more like 15.x lbs. for 17x7.

ur welcome...

the strength of the wheel depends on lots of factors.. what kind of composite its made of.. the geometry... and the type of manufacturing process... in general forging is stronger than casting...

if you go to that website i gave you.. http://www.wheelweights.com at the bottom of the list it has the order of strength.

i just went to a shop and saw the superleggra in person. it looks good, but will it look good on a silver celica? also, is O.Z. a good company? i just remembered that somebody on this board has the superleggra. who is he? i would like to hear his opinion on his rim...

I have them. They are 16.4lbs for the 17x8. They are pretty strong. I've hit some big potholes and they haven't bent or anything. The quality on them is excellent.

O.Z. is a really good company. They make rims for Ferrari, Formula 1, and WRC cars.

The pics are in my first post. The 17x7 weigh 15lbs. but they don't come in a size that will fit the celica.

I didn't notice any power loss at all. I have 215/40 on them right now so the rolling diameter is slightly less than stock. The only thing I don't like about them is cleaning them. It is a pain in the ass and I always miss a spot.

No, they don't have to be good, they are getting sponsored by OZ, and will get wheels as part of the deal.

In this case, they are good wheels. OZ is a major brand, the best? probably not, but very good? Yes.

damn, i cant pick... i dont know wat rim to get. this is weird. wen i didn't have the money to buy rims, i knew excatly wat i wanted, but now that i have the money, i have no idea wat to get.
