I have 16 x 7 with a 30 offset w/spacers. They sit out very nice, but no need to roll fenders.

I'm running 18x8 +35mm offset, far from rubbing. I think a 32mm offset would be perfect for that size wheel.

so for 18s you recomend 18 x 7.5 +35 this will be the 3rd set of rims we had since 2000 and everytime they are to far tucked in and they look like crap.. Is that ok if we have the c one suspention
Thanks

You can always try a wider wheel, 18x8 18x 8.5 but change the offset accordingly. Or you can use spacers

i dont want the wheels to stick out because the car is droped but with the speed we drive no spacers.

The "perfect" offset deals with the width of the rims... not the overall size (ei. 16s, 17s, 18s.)

Width AND offset determine how far in or out (or both) the wheel sits on the car.

the stock 16s are 6.5 wide with a 39 offset. If you would got to a 7.5 inch rim thats 1 inch wider. Staying at the 39 offet, half of that extra inch would go UNDER the car, the other half an inch would sit OUT towards the fender. get it?

kinda... Ok I want to make sure I do get this right I have always relied on the shops to get the right rims and 2 times I didn't like them. Ok we have the C-One suspension strut/coilover kit. Its dropped but I couldn't read the directions so I am not sure I think its like 2" I was told I will double check on that when I call kami speed. I will put the picture up also in this post.

The back wheels tuck deep as you can see in the photo I will level it out more when we get it back on the road.
I want to go with 18's and I would like to be able to drive it around with out rubbing. If a couple of you could show me some pictures of only 18's with a nice offset on a lowered celiac. And list your size and offset . We dont want to use spacer becaue of the hp

Below are a few I found. Also if you could maybe tell me the best size and then next best and so on just in case the rims are not made in that offset.
Thanks in advance
Greg

They are 18 x 8 5 x 100 35 offset. By the way I love the way the offset looks of the wheels on the banner at the top of the this page.

they are 18x 7.5 but I don't know what the offset is I will have to call

http://www.acealloywheel.com/07_newwheels2.htm
the next one is the concept 5 from Ace on the far right top the size is 18x8 but it doesn't say the offset. we can get them from kami speed

We don't want to spend more than 1,400 with tires. Im not even sure if some of them will fit above that I listed but if I have a list with photos of best to ok when I call the companies I will know whats best.

Pictures will help thanks again..

I is the smartestest! :gap:

Sea-Side, the rims show in the pic that lpphreakx06 posted are, as he stated, 18x8.5 +40.

So this particular rim is 2 inches wider than stock. lets PRETEND, the offset is +39 (1mm is NOTHING, its actually 0.0393700787 inches, so less than 1/16 of an inch)

Easy as pie, split the width in half. 1 inch sets UNDER the car more, the other in sticks 1 inch OUT farther.

I don't know a thing about your suspention. Do you have an extra inch from stock to go under there farther? I don't know. Once you get REAL close, then the tire width can play a part in rubbing too.
