Celica Crew in Hawaii?

I dont think there's enough of us that come on this board to make one...all the ones that I see out at night belong to other crews, or maybe they're lurkers on this site...not too sure. If this kicks off it would be interesting though... Hmmm I wonder who's the fastest celi down here anyways...

There seems to be some interest. As far as what i think as a crew i would just say a mellow group of car guys that just wanna chill hang out some time, talk about our cars and cruise every now and then. Personally im down wit a crew thats 10+ or as small as 3. Really doesnt matter just want to chill and cruise with other celica people

It was probably some the turbocharged guys back in the day. Of which i was going to be one but now i glad i didnt spend all that money. Now? I have no idea.

i know i have one zo6 red one at one of the sister dealerships. Its not new though. Convert 2004 or so. really havent looked at it. As for the cruise how does SUNDAY MAY 13, 2007 sound?

If it was a 6spd and you had a front end collision, then I think saw your car in the junkyards. The stupid monkeys running the yard trashed parts on it before I had chance to pick them up.

BTW, if anyone here spots another 6spd GT-S in the junkyards or hears of one I'd really appreciate it! :applaud:

the pic i attached is the last cruise i remember. june 04. that was already when we lost so many members that cruises were tuff to get like 10 together. the 20+ ones were mean.

will do...but that means you gotta lurk on the boards more often ;) if i every fry mines i was just going to get a replacement from toyota. although it costs more...i would just want to get a new one plus stock seems to be "good enough" for my application. hopefully i won't ever break it though *knock on wood* but if i do i'll let you know.

I do lurk around here often just to see if anything catches my eye. Still debating if I should just buy the one I know of. But the monkeys at the yard dropped the dam car off of a forklift onto the ground w/o any wheels AND took off the hood. So the bellhousing may not only be cracked but it's filthy. :faint:

Hmm not sure really... It was before my First deployment, and the second Big Celica Cruise that I was on island for. Maybe early '04. The only thing I remember about that cruise is was somewhere in the middle of the long line of cars someone almost got in a accident and we almost had a 6 car "Celi" bumper smasher.

^ yes, it can be done. You should explore this site, has alot of info. Is it worth it? IMO...No, unless you you get the trans for a nice price, or for some reason you need a new one.

thats the one at thew ABC junkyard in pearl city. I heard about it my freind took some parts off of it. My first Celi was a GT and it was auto so nope not mine... I wish I knew about it earlier to take parts too!
