One thing i noticed with my car as soon as i got it was that i can press on the accelerator about 1/2 - 1 inch before it gives the engine any gas. It's not really a huge problem, but I was wondering if anybody else had this with their car and if I should tighten the throttle cable or something.

If its got a throttle cable then absolutely tighten it.

oh and also, while ur tightening the throttle cable u can tighten up the cable for cruise control as well. check in the guides section
