What is the difference between the 2000 GT-S and the 2002 GT-S engine wise and performance wise? And witch one should I buy?

go with the 2000 if you want to get the full RPM range.

If you want to be able to rev to like 8300 rather than 7600-7800 go with the 2000-2001. If you want a new car go with the 2002. lol... I've had the 7th gen since 2000 an auto gt first then switch to a 2002 gt-s cuz ever since the first i've always wanted the lift. Just didn't know about the rev limiter at the time, I thought it was a governor chip or something that could be removed...boy was i wrong! I just hope they fix it in the 2003 model and then hopefully we (2002 owners) can swap the ecu! Lucky @ss matrix owners - heard they get full rev same engine and lift but ecu swap with them doesn't work...i don't get it!

because of the earlier rev limit that they are talking about, 2002's are significantly slower performance wise than the 2000's

I know there is somewhere around 500rpms less of lift.
