i blow the motor too,yeah sucks .
i was wondering if i sold the car like that how much do you guys think i can get for it ,

2000 gts
new tires
1 year old paint
car looks as good as a 2005
no dents, scraches.new wind sheild with the paint.
89000 mile
adr 17'' wheels
factory lip kit
silver w/silver wheels
transmition is 1year old ,nothing was wrong with it but got a new before warranty ran out.,
i put a lot of highway miles on it drivig it back and forth to work 50 miles a day.
basiclly put a lot of work in this car to keep it up and running good .

any ideas on what i can sell this car for? ,i really am thinking of getting rid of it !

Depends on what is wrong with it, the term "blown motor" is pretty vauge.

i would say about 3-4K, mods wont add value, especially when the engine is blown.

part it out.

motor till turns ,replaced oil pump sat there and ran for a while ,it was a little shacky then the oil pump gave out ,yeah the new one .... so they told me it would be better to replace it than trying to figure out what is wrong with it .

i misshifted btw!

I wouldn't pay more than 4k for it, but I'm not in the market for a GT-S with a blown motor either.

I'd try parting it out and salvaging the rest.

I called Toyota dealer and priced a complete engine ,they can sell it for $1800. that is not bad at all ..............man i never called them before ,all the other places i called wanted at least $2100. for a used motor with alot of miles ..i thought it would be higher then that..

You might want to double check on that. A new shortblock is almost $2k at dealer price not including any accessories or head.

$3K at most.

You would be far better off having Toyota put a used motor in it & selling it after.
