If you mean the 791XV... it is a DEI product.. good rep.... good support. If you search this forum, you'll find a link to the installation manual (which probably doesn't come with the unit)... and hook-up info specific for the Celica. It'll make your buddy's job alot easier.

That's what I ment. Lol.

I wanted to try and start installing it myself right now, cause I'm tired of the parts just sitting next to me.

I'll go ahead and find that installation manual.

It's a good unit. My brother has it in his car... As mentioned, good rep.

Does anyone know how to make the 514N louder?

The box says that it will be 6dB quiter than the full output of the speaker.

To restore chirps to fulll volume:
" Cut the black look coming from the base of the siren. The loop should be cut as cloe to the siren as possible."

There are multiple black cables on this siren. Has anyone cut these before?

It should be a "loop"... comes out and goes back in... it only effects the "chirps" for arm/disarm.

Understood. I see the loop. So that's cut as close to the siren as possible, and electrical tapped back, yes?

Cut in the middle of the loop... in case you want to splice it back together. You understand that this will only make the "chirps" louder... right?
