i dont know why, but my clock stays on now when i turn off my car and take out the key. is this going to hurt my battery life?

think about it... how many watts is your tiny asss clock using? Two tiny triple As (AAA) can last in my clock radio for like more than a year. Dont worry about your battery, but something is wrong. If you want to fix it, take it to toyota.

heh, i know whats wrong, but i guess that belongs in the audio section. i was putting in my mp3 player and for some reason the memory doesnt get saved in so i connected the yellow memory wire to the red wire and it can turn on now without a key in the car and the clock in the car, and the clock on the cd player stays on all the time now.

hook up the memory wire to the cigarrete lighter, or to the car's clock, dont leave it hooked up to the red wire, cuz if it overloads, then *poof* there goes the player....
