PLZ POST ONLY IF YOU DID SKUNKS BLUE INTERIOR MOD!!!!
i have heard of only one guy that had a problem and the guy seemed to be very ignorant. Like skunk was going to pay if the guy could produce receipts and stuff and the guy never got it fixed or some crap.... I don't know he seems like he does a good job from what i've heard

Not to be rude or anything. If you buy from TheHammer, he has great prices on LED. It just the matter of finding someone to do the install for you. It does come with great instruction in how to do it. Maybe you even could do it. Here his email, thehammer@teamcelica.com.
He will give you the best prices around.
Good Luck,
Dan

I'm buying mine from TheHammer, not because of experiences, but because he has the best prices on them. Skunk's got a good business going on, and I hope he does well, but I'm gonna do this mod myself.

Hey I did Skunks conversion when he recently came to Houston over the Memorial Day weekend. Let me just say that it kicks a$$. Angus is a machine. I watched him do it. The LED's are teeeny tiny. He had to use tweezers and he sands down the stock orange guage faces. He does incredible work. Mine went without a hitch. I'll even post pics if I can find someone to host them. Angus...if you read this, you the man.

i'm the one who's car skunk broke. and you're the ignorant one, i mean, you really don't even know what you're talking about, so why post? you don't know what happened with this so stay out of it.
anyways, if you search or whatever you can read the story of what happened to my car. i tried to post my experience as a warning, and SOME people gave me **** about it. like i should keep it a secret and not try to "ruin his business." that seems awful ignorant to me.
anyways, since then my needles have been working on and off, i think they were just loose though. i'll know in a day or two. as for the repair, he said he'd pay for it. well i kept trying to get a hold of him and he wouldn't answer any of my calls for a week or any of my emails. in the meantime he lined up his conversion trip to houston, so its not like he was too damn busy for me. thats when i posted what happened.
the funny thing is i wanted to call him and tell him what was wrong. he spent 2 days and probably 5-6 hours trying to diagnose and repair my problem and he was way off. he was totally just guessing and BSing. i took it to a shop who determined the problem within MINUTES (LITERALLY!). it would cost them about 400 to fix it, but i was able to rig it to work myself. its not fixed right, but it lights up. i did it this way because i couldn't get a hold of skunk. anyways i was going to tell him all this but he wouldn't even talk to me so i never got to. i was willing to totally say don't even worry about it, until he blew me off. then thats when i posted on here, and he still never bothered to talk to me in person. only to badmouth me on the board. if he was an honorable person he would have had tons of chances to have fixed this the right way.
its just not right. i mean, at least live up to your word. i would never do that. people are just untrustworthy assholes.
the guy is not professional. i mean, he has pulled a wire loose on my cig. lighter light because he was tugging on it so hard (works on and off now), he fryed my damn wires to the board of the center console because he never unhooked the wiring while he was working. i'm missing like 4 screws because he just lost them (this isn't a big deal, but i mean, it just shows how unprofessional he is). the clock, he uses a piece of ****ing scotch tape with blue paint (and charges you 15 dollars for this). it looks blurry and like hell. the center console, after i finally got it lit up, it was all uneven and parts don't even light up. the gauge needles work on and off, they may have been just loose, i'll know in a day or two if they have stopped acting up. i just pushed them in better today. turn sigs and clock are not even visible in the daytime.
oh and after i posted what happened, skunk posted he wouldn't pay for my repair unless i sent him all the blue leds back. now, of course i cannot do that, he has my stock ones. also, if i had them, i obviously couldn't switch them out or i would have done it myself! so yeah he totally tried to screw me.
so those are just things to think about. i normally do everything to my car myself. but i thought with this i want a professional to do it. i don't want to risk it. well, i learned the hard way. he's not a professional, he's not a business. buy the stuff from the hammer and if you don't want to do it yourself, go to a gauge calibration place, they fix burnt out leds. they will probably solder these in for you. and if they break it, they can't hide from you. don't trust your car to anyone. except a business that you know will stand behind their work.
thats just my opinion and my experience.

if there is much of a demand for it, i'll put some pics up of the parts the look like crap. the gauges look good, but the turns, clock, center console, they don't look good at all. so if you do get it done, i wouldn't bother PAYING him to do that part.
