i already have an avic-d3 along with a kicker comp vx sub and kicker 750.1 amp. in the last couple weeks i decided that i am going to upgrade the front speakers to the new alpine type r components and power them with an alpine mrp-f250 amp. on my previous setup i had the amp drilled onto the back of the rear seat on the drivers side and i plan on doing the same thing this time on the other rear seat. my questions is this: is there an easier way to wire everything than going through and re-hooking up the power and rcas and all of that stuff? maybe there is some way to connect the amps so that only one set of cords runs up through the car? sorry im a noob with all this. this will actually be my first install by myself once i get the speakers and amp...if anyone has any tips for me that would be awesome (product tips or installation tips).
thanks for the help everyone

I suppose you could power both amps off a 1/0 power cable connected to a block at the back, but you need to take the left and right signals w/ RCA and run them to your amps, then run the speaker signals back to your speakers. Theres really no easy way to do it with the amp at the back.

Yea run a fat power wire from the battery to where both amps are, preferably 4gauge to 1/0 gauge, to a distro block, which will split that to 2 8gauges or even 2 4gauges, your call really, one for each amp. Each amp gets its own ground somewhere on the chassis.
The blue remote wire, you don't have to run a whole new long wire straight to the deck, just tap into the existing one already going to your other amp.
As for the RCAs, you might have to run new ones as well, BUT you can daisy chain if your amp lets you. If you are getting a 4/2 channel amp to power your front/rear speakers, if it has an RCA output, that is for daisy chaining the amp, use that output for the signal input for the other subwoofer amp.
But if your deck has 4ch rca output with a seperate non-fading subwoofer output, I PERSONALLY would use those instead of daisy chaining. A little extra work, but should be the optimal way.
The daisy chain method is helpful for those who have decks with only a pair of rca outputs or no seperate subwoofer output.

The easiest way would be to use a splitter in your power wire. Everything else you can just run new. The ground wire should go to the same spot the other amp is grounded at. You can get a set of RCAs for 4 channel amps, and the remote wire can be chained over to the new amp. You will also need to run wire from the 4 channel to the new speakers. It shouldn't be too bad like that. I think I remember that your other amp has 4ga power wire and that will be perfect for both amps. You will also probably need a bigger fuse. I can help you out whenever you want.
