Well like I said I just brought a 2000 GT-S Auto and I need to know where to find what type of engine I have cause I would like to either swap it out or get parts for the current engine i have. Thank You.... Also if you know where to find parts i would appriciate that too... Thank You .... I am currently deployed so I need your help and advice.....

Your 2000 Auto GT-S has the 2ZZ-GE engine ( :thumbup: ), but not a C60 6-speed transmission ( :thumbdown ).

Despite it being auto, your still gonna enjoy your Celi, they are great cars.

However, if performance modding is what you have in mind, auto would not have been a good choice. Drive it, enjoy it.

hey nesto,

dont let them standard missed the shift clutch burners get you down. There are a lot of us here that have 4 spd at celi gts.

Sure the 6 spd standard is faster but no fun 2 drive in bumper to bumper
or up & down endless traffic filled hills, so automatics have their place and the automatics still go
158mph , just takes a second or 2 longer getting there is all.

But if you like standard, (I dont), then, by all means swap it out.

Enjoy your 180 hp 1.8 L 1800cc 4 cylinder because its a good looking hoot!!
