miguires cleaner wax

i know i spelled it wrong but i dont know how its spelled and i dont want to go look at the bottle. anyway, i havent used a cleaner wax before so i have nothing to compare this to but, i used that Miguires Cleaner Wax (safe for clear coats). it really took out alot of the swirls in my paint and waxed off nicely. i reccomend it to anyone who wants to remove swirls. it didnt do much for the chips but it is supposed to be a less abrasive cleaner wax. just my $.02 but i would reccomend it to anyone

Yes, it is a great product. It should be used in conjunction with carnauba wax. The only thing for chips is touch up paint. If you think the cleaner/wax is good, try Meguires Gold Class

Meguires rocks, that's the only wax product I will use.

i just bought gold class yesterday......IMO the shine isn't as nice as i thought it was gonna be....finish looks no different from turtle wax......although its a lot easier to use and probably lasts longer than turtle wax.....ima try zaino when my meguiars runs out...lol oh ya.....and meguiars gold class smells nice too =)......

If ya like the cleaner wax, try a clay bar. Car feels like it is made of glass afterwards. It is so smooth and looks damn good. Takes some time to do though. But after waxing with the gold class it looks damn good. Very reflective and clean.

No kidding it takes time to clay bar, plan on spending a good part of your day working with your car, not only do you have to go over it with the clay bar you also need to put on a sealer coat, and I always finish off with a carnuba just to make the shine last longer :)

what is this Miguires Cleaner Wax ... is it a wax. and a cleaner like the title says. or is it just a wax with an added function but basicly just a cleaner. I have used Liquid Gold Class wax after washing and dring the car. and the car shine and feels really nice. But it did not get rid of one swirl mark at all. SO DOES THIS STUFF DO THAT... GRRRR>.... first black car and man sometime i think i shoulded of gotten the silver one... but please help me :)

i used that stuff last week...its a wax and mine came in a can and sponge...it took away alot of the swirls and id say it even made the color darker :)......ONE THING I WILL NEVER BUY IS MEGUIRES FINE CUT CLEANER!!!!

it really removed the swirls in my paint but it dosent last all too long. in response to "Vroom_Vroom", you cant expect much from any deep cut cleaner, that stuff is just bad news. it will eat into your clear cut if you do it wrong. i would definately take it to a shop to have that done.

so how is the 3 part meguires cleaner?

i was just at autozone to buy something to clean my exhaust and i saw that they had a 3 part cleaner/wax. it was like 5 per a bottle and they recommend using the quickwash or something with it, which is another 5.

well the money isnt an issue, but it seems like it will take a long time, and that is. is this something where you should use the first step before the 2nd? is there an added bonus of some sort by doing this?
