For all you've done to your car...Are you in debt now?

I was just wondering, and I'm sure that most of you guys have sponsors and/or good paying jobs, with all you have done to your car if you are hurting money wise. Like credit card debt or have just enough money to fill your gas tank. Just a curiousity question:D

yeah man i got a sponsor for all the cosmetic work on my car...its my boys shop...he is a proffessional painter for cqars and stuff...and he has won numerous awards for cars in shows and stuff like that ..he is one of the best on the east coast..so i gues im prety lucky weith that.....but as for other engine mods...if i dont have the money i save up to pay cash but i usually got the cash from my job.... my boy jst finished some work on my car last week... here is the link to my pics...

the day i walk'd out of the toyota dealership, i was in debt. give me 3 more years and she's all mine. ;).......but i don't regret everrrrrrrrrrr getting this whip........i look at it as an investment....otherwise i would have got junk that would have been useless to me:rolleyes:

Very in debt. I should have waited to buy only when I can afford pay it off but I am a very impatient person. so whater hell at least I have a kick ass car that I will be in debt fro thje next 30 years!

I've saved and paid cash for all my mods so far. The only thing im gonna be in debt for is about $700 so I can get my volks tomorrow :D

nope no debt I paid the car off in under 2 years had 2 build ups in that time and never had any money to do anything in those 2 years other than mod out my car. was it worth it absolutley because now I have a still very new car with no monthly payment almost no bills per month and a kick a$$ trophie taking 1 of a kind celica with only 1 or 2 more little bolt ons to buy.... Short shifter and header coming very soon shifter is on order and not to sure of what header I want for the gt

Honestly I am surprised at the amount of people that save in cash and then buy something. I thought for sure this thread was gonna be loaded with people saying they have credit card companies calling their house 3-4 times a day trying to get there money=)

no he repanited the hood and front and back bumpers becasue of rock chips and he did all my calipers and under my hood and he painted and mounted my kit for me..and plus i didnt pay a dime for anything including the kit...hes my boy...heheh ...thats what a sponsor is all about...thanx for the compliments...

my motto... and a word of advise i give to everyone when it comes to buy mods (or anything else you WANT and don't NEED)..

if you can't afford it, you don't deserve it...

meaning... if you don't have the money now... that means, you have to work, save your money, and maybe in a month, you can buy it...

I try to save up and pay cash for my mods as well. I have hella debt due to my gambling habit but not my mods. I only purchased my rims on my credit card.... so i say i owe a grand on a credit card for my mod, otherwise, straight cash.

Not in debt for me. I'd payed for all my mods I got. All it take is work hard till you want something. But having a good job does help too.

thats what i am trying to do.. trying to pay it off in 2 years, and then after that.. its mod city!

I am only 23 and live by myself (no roomies, just me, which is kinda expensive) I have a 2000 GTS with some mods, nothing too over the top cost wise, and I only owe $4000 bucks on the car itself yet. (And I paid it all myself) I don't buy anything unless I have the money, cuz who knows whats gonna happen tomarrow. This past tues I was told by my work supervisor that on friday we were getting lay-off letters. They are basically cutting the company half. I got a 50/50 chance of not having a job tomarrow!!! Good thing I don't owe on a sh!t load of mods!!! Anybody wanna contibute to the "saveKorywithaK fund"? :wtc:
