Does anyone know where you can get a supercharger for the GT i have looked around every where and searched alot. I saw that TRD makes one, but i cant find it anywhere for sale. I also saw that in japan only they have the Trial s/c but that has not come to united states according to there site. Greddy only makes one for the GTS. So does anyone know where i can find one? Thanks

you can use the TRD one, but you will need a new hood and some modification to the throttlebody I believe. MWR can do the work for you, I've considered it.

The trd s/c is no longer made and is not worth it anymore anyways.

Twice the horsepower, basically the same price. His prices in this thread are way overinflated and once you take into account the same mods for each setup, I think they should come out somewhat close with the $/hp way better with the rotrex.

^^and thats a GTS...so its starting with 40 more hp, so thats not really a fair comparison.

That's why you look at gains. trd is 40hp gain, rotrex is almost 100hp gain if i'm not mistaken.

Okay here is the breakdown. These prices could be way off so correct me if I

well it depends on the amount of boost, the rotrex kit is more reliable especially when ur running a intercooler and the water injection is for being on the safe side it is so you can go a little higher on the boost but nothing drastic. i honestly dont see a point in supercharging a GT because you have much more potential power if you go turbo.

some peple just don't want to deal with turbos....like me, so this is a great option

Get the whole trd sc MT kit for either corolla or matrix. Get a corolla or matrix tb. The belt that comes with the kit works apparently. You'll either need a diagram or an electrician to wire the TRD ecu in. The kit should be no more than 2,000....
If you can do bolt ons like I/H/E you should be able to install the sc..

I wouldn't even consider the Rotrex without an intercooler... Add about $500 to that for a decent intercooler and some piping.

Even the TRD has a set boost level from the ECU, it doesn't have too much room for improvement. I personally have never dealt with rotrex before, but I installed the trd on a matrix xr 5spd and spent a whoel day trying to figure out a way to get decent (better than 25whp) without getting a ****ty afr. The car felt different def. Lotsa wheel spin, lot more notible torque. But for the money, I'd spool over the trd sc anyday.
