i was reading this TSB... http://www.radphys.com/TSB_SPEEDO_TACH_FLUCTUATION.pdf

is there a way that we can get out tach and spedo to spin up and down like the tC and STI's when you turn ur ignition on? or when removing that fuse that TSB is talking about would do that? lol... i thought thats pretty cool when ur gauges do that... lol...

I'm pretty sure the gauges like in the Scion TC are just programmed to do that. I'm guessing a type of relay or certain signal that is sent to do a full sweep. I'm talking like maybe a regulator will send a certain amperage so they needle will go to max sweep and then return to normal amperage received from the sensors. You know what I mean? If this is the case, you can probably rig this up, you just need some good electrician know-how.

Yah this is what im thinking.. i know most aftermarket gauges (ones you put in pods) do this. Im sure if you gave dooly enough time he could come up with something.

Id also like to see this. All of our semi's do it, and I always thought it was pretty cool.
