Trouble downshifting to 2nd

Does anyone else have trouble downshifting to 2nd? I pretty much have to wait for my rpms to go to 1k, and my speed to be about 27mph or lower to get into 2nd. If I don't, then I grind 2nd and thats always ****ty. so wtf?

save up for a new trans, dont worry its a very common problem. just search "transmission grind", "synchro" (i couldve spelled wrong) or "grinding in gear"

replace synchro...switch to mt-90 and lube your shift linkage until then...or replace your whole tranny if you wanna go the expensive route
