Engine Knock Some On Help Me Please !!

I have a 2000 toyota celica gt and i ws driving the other day and the car shut off on me when i started it back up the car was ding a knocking noise and i dont know what it is cuz the car has oil and its not leaking any oil at all the car still starts and moves if i put it in geare and is not trowing any black smoke or any smoke at all its just knocking but when i start it afta a min the car shuts off on me if any one has run in to this or can help me or live close by and can come take a look and help me place send me a text message at 718 200 9841 i really dont pick up calls but i will reply 2 a text message phones pre paid sry but feel free to hit me up with as much info as possible THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME READING THIS - Jose . you may have oil in your car and do not have any leaks but do you have Oil Pressure? if you dont, meaning your oil stays in your pan and dont spread on your entire engine. Check you gauge if your oil signal is lite up or get a oil pressure tester or gauge...

ECU sense excessive knock and it shuts off the engine to prevent more damage
