A New Wing for Bat!

I really like my new Kaminari Race Wing with Carbon Fiber Insert:). Although, there are a few things I wasn't too thrilled about. Upon receiving my wing, I noticed that alot of prep work would need to be done in order to get the wing looking just right. The Carbon Fiber centerpiece in particular, had a few scratches in it. Not what I would expect from Kaminari. The edges were pretty rough too. The end pieces were in pretty good shape. I had the centerpiece edges painted to match my Spec Blue, instead of black. The end result was very nice. The clearcoat seemed to hide some of the scratches on the centerpiece, though some were still visible. Fitment was okay, although the base didn't sit exactly flat on the hatch, it still looked good. Today I noticed some rattling from the wing. Not too sure were it's coming from, but I'll check it out. Overall, I give the Kaminari Race Wing an 8 out of 10. Enjoy the PICS;).

Thaats nicer than the RMM wing. I like how it flares up espically in the side shot. It atches the lines of the WW sides. I looks like one continuous line goes all alone the the WW side and up the spoiler. VERY NICE.

Yup, it was me:). I was checking out the new houses up on top of the hill. Unfortunately they start at 500,000.00:(. What were you doing in the area Minh?

Hehehehe... Looking good man... I love the color of your car... Oh yeah and that wing looks so good on that color... Anyway Yeah I had the same problem with rattling but that got fixed by some industrial strenght double sided tape :D... See the pics dont do the wing justice...

No kidding. The wing looks awesome in person:). The rattling noise i have may be coming from the right side, where the centerpiece meets the right support. There's alittle play in there, so I may just tighten it up a bit. I have a foam insert sandwiched between the base and the hatch also, to prevent any rattling there and to absorb the shock when shutting the hatch.

One thing I also wanted to mention is the right base overhang hits the car when shutting the hatch. It's put a small indentation underneath the right support, but nothing serious. Fitment IMO, isn't perfect, that's why I gave a score of 8 out of 10.

Oh yeah... Another thing... You have to change that part of your sig with the old wing since you dont have that anymore... Wing looks great and your ride is awesome keep up the good work man... Wait... When are you coming out with that emblem again?

I know, I need to update my sig again. BTW, my emblem came in the mail today, but it's not what I thought it was going to be:(, so for now, the emblem mod is scratched until I find the right one. In the meantime, I'm going to play around with my stock one:).

i like the wing.....and now we know who makes the rmm...cause it has a lot of features of the rmm one.....looks good in my opinion

Yes, pretty close to the RMM wing. Only real differences is the Kam Wing has a two piece adjustable centerpiece, when set to the far rear position, flares upward. Plus I think the RMM wing's end pieces sit just a tad bit lower than the Kaminari ones.

Namja- looks like the s2k antenna would fit fine, look at the 2nd pic where his old antenna used to be

The antenna will work fine with this wing. You have about 1" between the base of the antenna and the wing itself:).

I have this wing and an S2000 as well... Like Bat said... There is about an inch space between the wing and the antenna...

It's pretty much the same size as the RMM wing. Also, the pic was taken from a lower angle, so it looks bigger.
