I dont have any subwoofers. I dont plan on getting any soo i figured to get my speakers to their potential. Im trying to look for advice on doing it?
I have 4 sony explodes, 270 watts. With a pioneer deck that is 55w rated. Im wondering if anyone can help me...I want to amplify those 4 speakers. Cuz right now. If I put my bass up. They do sound scratchy so I want more amp in them.

I dont want a sub in my car...not even a 10". I need that trunk space.

How can I do it?
What size amp do I need?
Can I put it under one of my seats?

Will it work?

Is there anything else I need to know?

i recommend a rockford P3002 and it will make it pretty good without subs. i wouldnt go with sonys but they are ok, make sure you get good rca's so you dont get interferance that will distort your speaker output. you could mount it on the back of the fold down seats. it gets distorted with the headunit because its getting saturated and distorting your signal, thats why the seperate amp is needed. a 8 gauge amp kit should be good for that wattage.

any amp that has 70-100w rms per channel would make your speakers sound sweet. but don't expect bass from it even if its amplified. amplifier only makes your coaxials sound clear even at high volumes. but it your seeking for bass then sub is necessary.

some good brands are Alpine and JL.
