Hi all,
Hopefully this is a simple question... Here's the breakdown, I drive my nephews to school every once in a while and they tend to like to play with the power windows... Unfortuneately the window control panel is in the center of the car so they can get to it rather easily and the window lock only works on the passenger side. Is there a place (website) that i can goto that has a tweak mod to make the driver side lock as well, when that button is pressed? Thanks in advance for any info.

PLZ, anyone? I was thinking of something in the lines of tutorials like they had at teamunison, but they no longer exist...Not sure if they had a set of instructions for this or not. Just need a webaddress or a place i can goto. thnx all :)

I'm not sure if thats easily done. I say just stick the kids in the back seat.

Find a way to take that button out so that you have access to those wires...get 2 extra wires or how ever many wires there are, connect and extend them to where ever you want to mount the switch or button. more than likely, to the left of your steering wheel area where they are blank plastic popouts. Buy a regular switch or button, run the extra amout of wires through you dash, and connect the wires to the switch/button. put your original window lock button back (with no connections) and install the hooked up switch. Bada bing bada boom! you know have a useless button in the middle of you console, but a useable window lock switch/button out of their reach/sight which will be more convienient to you! really not that hard, unless it it dificult to get to your original wires.
If you need more detail, copy and paste this message to a PM thing and PM me.

Nevermind on that one....pop open your window switch area and find the power and ground wire for those switches...then run the wires from that....this makes it so that you can disconnect the power running to that switch with the flick or press of a button. Sounds kinda ghetto, but I think that it would work just fine.
