I'm sure most of you have seen my numerous threads in the repair and maintenance section about noises coming from the tranny. When I was in 5th or 6th gear just crusing, or when I would shift gear, I would hear a rattling sound like something was loose. I took it into the shop and apparently the guy that installed my clutch about a year ago didn't bolt up the tranny correctly when he put it back in, thus it was moving. When in gear, the clutch/flywheels spins so it was causing the tranny to shake.

Stupid ass guy that installed my clutch made me think there was something major wrong with my tranny. :fawk:

Nope, just annoying noises for the past year or so. It really helps that the owner of the shop is one of my Dad's good friends, so they are always honest and they do most of my stuff for free! :D

wow you lucked out. There was another guy that had this problem and when he took his tranny off all the flywheel bolts were sheared off at the head. He had to drill and extract them.
