It happened a week ago. Driving down a twisty road, this VW Bora (jetta in US) was behind me, he was driving to fast for wet conditions, and at a tight right hander, he brakes late and over takes me on the inside, me minding my own business, carry on in the outer trajectory... at the near exit of this corner, I was still ahead of him abit, he somehow manages to lose control, slides, clips my side rear and weee off we go. I do a 180 degree turn and WHAM on to the concrete railing. Side airbags deploy... Luckily no injuries but my car is soooooooo broken. Cops come, fill out papers, tow truck and at the dealer I asked them "damage?", they said "very bad". bodywork isn't damaged but the right side suspensions, brakes, driveshaft is dead meat. The car was declared total loss. The Insurance guy will go there and assess the damage asap.
So basically I've been carless for a week now, so pissed off. Many sleepless nights. I was considering getting other cars ie WRX, S2000 or IS200, but yesterday I decided that I loved my celica too much I am going to get another one. I will take the opportunity to upgrade to TS. gawd life sucks... Oh well I at least I will get the best of it, hopefully...
