I guess you do have to factor in the automatic. But look at what this guy spent and went though for a 14.6.

Very very long story, if you want to ask him hit up www.toyotacelica.org and go in the message board there. He posts there. I'd ask him, because there is 2 sides to this story just as there is to every other story.

Yes it's Xanatos car ,he's from Puerto Rico and 14.6 for an auto GT is impresive...considering stock 17+ sec 1/4's and YES he can blow your doors in a street or highway race...Now he has a HALTECH stand alone unit big injectors and is much faster.....

At least he has one of the fastest celica around and it's an auto...!

why does he run a 5.3 (0-60) and then get only a 14.6 (1/4)??? does the top end suck???

The 14.6 was an actual run...Dragstrip and the 5.3 was an estimate....I don't think 5.3 the car is a more realistic 6.3.....Maybe with the new mods.....
